Candle Care

Our hand poured sculptural candles are designed to be a unique decor piece in your home. We use the highest quality wax and cotton wicks to ensure an even and long-lasting burn time. Please note that every candle burns differently.

Before Lighting – Place the candle on a flat heat resistant dish or candle plate big enough to collect any wax that may drip. This avoids the melted wax from dripping on to any furniture.

First Burn – Let the candle burn for at least 1 hour to create a “melt pool” and avoid candle from tunneling. Do not burn the candle any longer than 3 hours at a time.

Avoid Draughts & Flammable objects – Light your candles where there’s no draught and keep clear of flowers and other flammable objects.

Putting candles out – Do not leave your candles unattended. Make sure to put out the candles before sleeping or leaving your home.

Ongoing Use – Candles are sensitive to temperature and light. Fragrances with a vanilla content may yellow if exposed to sunlight or fluorescent light, this is normal and does not affect the burning of the candle. Store your candles away from sunlight and heat.

Trim wick before every use – It is normal in soy wax for your wicks to mushroom. This is easily fixed by trimming your wick to 6mm. Trimming will ensure your candle does not burn hotter than it should, and thus will prolong the life of your candle. Trim the little ball on the end of your wick and keep your candle burning gently, be sure not to cut it to short or it will become engulfed by wax.

Candle Safety – Keep away from pets or children. Always place the candle in a flat heat resistant dish or candle plate when lighting.
